Pricing
One of the last criteria that should be used for deciding on a cellular phone service provider is price. While it is important to get a good value and get the best possible service for your money, it is also important to remember that a quality cellular network will cost a little more to be a part of than a network that may not be as reliable. A sales person will try to get you interested in the latest and greatest upgrades to your service and it may be a good idea to listen to what they have to say. Some of the service upgrades offered by providers these days can offer excellent insurance in case your phone gets damaged, lost, or stolen. Considering how much cell phones cost, and how important they become to the person that owns them, it is a good idea to consider insurance on your phone when signing up for your service. Finally, you will want to stop and consider doing business with a company that tries to lock you in to a contract that you are not comfortable with in order to get the features you want. You may love the extensive coverage the company offers, but you may feel that their charge per minute for minutes over your plan is excessive. Try negotiating and read with the sales person to see if you can get a deal that is better for you. If you feel truly uncomfortable with the contract as it is, and there is no way to change the contract then walk away and take a look for. It may not seem like a big deal to sign a two year agreement for cellular phone service, but that can be a long two years when you realize you did not get the deal you really wanted.
